TONE GENERATORS

HEAR THE WARM AND CRUNCHY CARBON FIBER REEDS

Carbon fiber reeds are used as tone generators.The fibers follow the grain over the length of the reed, this makes for an extremely strong reed and a warm distinct Wurlitzer style sound. At the end of the reed there is a weight with a triangle shaped front that creates the wave form. the front of the reed passes trough an optical sensor picking up the sound of the oscillating reed

FEEL THE FULLY HAMMER ACTION KEYBED

The Tentij Optical Reed Bass is fully mechanical. The compact nature of the piano makes it easy for handling and won't take up too much space in your setup. This does however need some clever designing to still make it have a fully mechanical hammer action keybed. The action is a compact upside down version of a regular upright piano action, this can be made possible with magnets. This gives it a really premium, delicate but sturdy feel for ultimate performance of the user.

On the bottom of the piano 25 grooves
with tuning screws are found.
These are the frets. When unscrewing and sliding up and down the pitch of the reed will go up/down. This way the user can tune the piano in case the tuning is off. The buyer will receive a screwdriver for tuning and possibly other customisation with the action of the piano.
